Shadows change and shift as the sun moves across the sky. We've all seen our own shadow stretch away into the distance on an evening stroll and we've also seen the hard flat shadow that welds itself to the ground right beneath our feet under a hot midday sun. Some of these images also feature in our abstract tutorial and that shows how shadows bend and alter our perception of reality. Our shadow IS us and yet it isn't. Play around with this idea as the sun climbs and then dwindles.
Decide if you want to include the object/subject in the picture as well - or just shoot the shadow. Use yourself as the subject if you wish
Remember - shadows are longer and more dramatic as the sun drops at the end of the day
