​We might be here for a while, so our first project will help you record the passing days until schools finally open their doors again. Most of the examples below were shot over a very long period of time but even if you do this for just a couple of weeks it will make a cool little sequence. You can spice it up by changing how you look or pulling faces. 

This project is for phone or camera.  There are apps that make this very easy to do on your phone and our recommendation is below

Make a time-lapse portrait instead ​
​If Selfies aren't your thing you can make this a one-a-day portrait project. Do you have a brother or sister who'd be happy to be your subject  - or maybe your mum or dad - or even both of them together.  Or the whole family.  Or your dog or cat or guinea pig.

How to do it / Technique 
1. This will work best if you shoot your pictures in Landscape format ( unless using a phone )
2. Your head should stay in the same place for each image but it will work well if the background changes. You can move outside and inside or have other family members in some of the pics. 
3. Dress up - change your hair - wear a hat - pull faces - brush your teeth - mess around -

Close-up, Daily Selfie is the Iphone App we recommend. Free to start using and with a clever overlay to show you where your face should go. It DOES cost £1 to upgrade to the version that allows you to download and save your projects - but this is a very reasonable charge and it is not a subscription. I'm afraid we haven't found a good free Android app.
