Today's challenge is probably long overdue. It's the GreatClick Bake Off !! We'd like you to combine your culinary skills with your photographic genius to fill a gallery with tempting cakes and biscuits.
Thanks to Lottie K and mum Sarah for suggesting this assignment and providing us with these inspirational images. Clearly it's a team effort with Sarah taking the camera sometimes - and that's cool of course as parents are also allowed to be great photographers.
You don't need to make Covid cupcakes of course - but we thought these were fun. They started appearing as part of the support shown to NHS and other Drs and nurses around the world. Somebody even made a set of Dr Anthony Fauci (Us chief medical expert ) donuts - which were selling like hot cakes apparently.

MAKE IT - BAKE IT - TAKE IT - EAT IT
How ? The kitchen is where you will be baking and luckily it's usually the brightest room in the house. Use reportage skills to snap the baking stages, and then still life to shoot the finished result and finally portraiture as you ask your mum to snap a pic of you holding your masterpiece.
Tips Use a camera if you can for the portrait picture Try shooting straight down on top of a tray of cupcakes to capture the repeated shapes. Use a white napkin or a homemade silver foil reflector to bounce light back towards the window and make your images brighter
