Film making recap 1. Find a quiet space away from other film makers 2. Set the camera up and frame the shot 3. Focus the camera where the actors will be (not on the clapperboard) Half press the shuter button until you see a green rectangle 4. Press Red Button and say ROLLING After this leave the camera alone unless you are panning. DO NOT ZOOM in mid shot 5 Clapperboard operator walks in and says "Name of Film - Scene 1 Take 1 (2,3 etc)" and claps the clapperboard 6. When clapperboard person is clear Director says "ACTION " 7. Actors do their thing and at the end of the take the Director says "CUT"
Remember 1. Focus the camera on the actors - before the clapperboard comes in 2. Actors wait a second or two after Director says ACTION 3. Director waits a second or two after scene has finished before shouting CUT
