DofE Photography for the Autumn of 2017
Our DofE course provides a balanced and interesting introduction to the incredible world of imagination and creativity that is Photography. By the end of this course students will be on the way to becoming competent Dslr photographers. They will possess a variety of camera and picture taking skills that will underpin their love of photography. We teach simple Camera skills and compositional techniques through a variety of individual weekly projects chosen from Light Painting, Black & White, Small World, Portraiture, Close up Flowers & Blossom, Landscape, Fast Shutter Action, Smartphone Photography, Levitation, Chemigrams, Forced Perspective, Solar Printing, Stop Motion, Self Portraiture, Reportage, Ghosts, Film Making and Silhouettes.
Students may be improvers or complete beginners. Even if they have never owned a camera they will already be more visually aware than any previous generation in history. This is the age of Smartphones and Social Media and it has created a world filled with confident young image makers.
