Once again we are pleased to welcome DofE students to Click. We've been teaching and assessing young photographers for the DofE since 2013 and Click Photography Workshops is the longest established provider of face to face photography tuition for children and teenagers in the UK - working in schools, and afterschool and weekend clubs. Based in West London, we teach from Year 5 to A Level. Our teachers are award winning editorial photographers with clients as varied as Vogue, Channel 4, O2, and The Telegraph & Guardian newspaper groups
All Click courses are designed to get students out and shooting immediately. We DO care about technique and we teach darkroom and complex Dslr skills as well as advanced Photoshop for our A level students - but what matters most is imagination and self-expression
Modern cameras and smartphones make it possible for the young photographer to start shooting straight away and we embrace this.
Online DofE Photography
In the current situation DofE provision has moved online and this 12 week course will be supported by live tutorials and a dedicated web gallery of student images.
Our students documented their lives in Lockdown and now their world is opening up again. Photographers are very lucky to have a passion that is helping them make sense of these strange days.
Our horizons may have shrunk a little but our imaginations are as free as they ever were.

Smartphone Photography for DofE
Our courses can all be accessed by students using Cameras and Smartphones but we have a new offering for students who wish to complete the whole course with their phone. Smartphones have revolutionised Photography in the last decade and we have created a phone only course for Iphone and Android phones using the best new filters and apps to maximise quality and creativity.

Our DofE assignments are designed for camera & smartphone.
12 weeks & a whole world of amazing lessons
We are used to teaching face to face and we are including 3 Zoom tutorials to make this as personal as possible.
Our topics include Camera & Phone handling - Focus Lock - Jump - Self Portrait - Rule of Thirds - Landscape - A Walk in the Park - Editing - Food - Autumn Colour - Macro - Photography & Social Media - Black & White - Iphoneography - Forced Perspective - Window Light - Small World - Landscape - Fake or Real - Reading Pictures
& the amazing History of Photography
Students images will be displayed in personal galleries and each student will produce a portfolio of at least 12 images for final presentation

Course start dates
Our courses begin every week. Each course is limited to 6 participants and individually tailored. Students will be supported with online tutorials and Zoom sessions in weeks 1, 5, & 11
Portfolio hand-in will be completed by Week 12 & assessor sign-off will be completed online.
