young photographers for the DofE since 2011.
Click Photography Workshops is the longest established provider of face-to-face photography tuition for children and teenagers in the UK, working in schools, and in after school and weekend clubs from our base in Teddington.

13 assignments over 3 months. 6 core skill lessons and 7 chosen to suit your
interests, from a broad menu of topics and seasonal offerings.
Our online course provides a comprehensive introduction to Photography for students who want to progress at their own pace and may not be able to attend weekend zoom lessons. Students access a dedicated DofE space on the Click website to find self contained lessons covering composition, editing, and a variety of themes. Once they have completed a range of core assignments, students are able to choose the lessons that appeal to them personally.
We will request a mini submission after 5 weeks, to assess progress and provide feedback.
After 3 months students submit a final portfolio of images for assessment.

This course for smartphone or camera includes 3 Zooms sessions, with weekly emailed assignments, continual assessment, feedback, and private student galleries hosted on the Click website. Students receive their weekly assignments on Saturday morning and file their work to us regularly for feedback and to allow us to create their personal gallery.

This has been a wonderful experience full of opportunity to experiment as well as to display my own character and creativity. I'd definitely recommend this course for anyone interested in getting started with photography or who is looking to further develop their skills.. All Click courses are designed to get students out and shooting immediately. We do care about technique and we teach darkroom and complex Dslr skills as well as advanced Photoshop for our A level students - but what matters most for new students, and DofE students in particular, is imagination and self-expression.
We promise that if you work hard, by the end of the course, you will have skills that will stay with you forever.

Formed in 2007 and based in West London, we teach from Year 6 to A Level. Our founders, Philip & Sheridan, are award winning editorial photographers with 25 years of shooting experience for clients as varied as Vogue, Channel 4, O2,

During the pandemic our DofE provision moved online and we discovered that, in very many ways, teaching via zoom over a prolongued 3 or 6 month period improved the courses we were able to offer and worked really well for our students. The world has long since opened up again of course, and we've resumed face to face for our students in West London, but still believe that the online course is a brilliant way to learn photography. Students take charge of their lives and tackle the weekly lessons whenever
it suits their busy schedules. They take personal responsibility and love the freedom this brings
The online course is supported by the same dedicated section of the website filled with exciting and stimulating tutorials which students access each week for their assignments. Remote students make a halfway submission and receive feedback and email support
