3 weeks to plan, script, storyboard, shoot and edit your final project
The big idea: What's the story ? You may already have a good idea of what you want to do. If not start thinking. It can be Fictional or Documentary
Script, Storyboard & ShotList You need to write the story down. This might be a single paragraph or several pages long. A script will help if you're doing a voiceover but if it's a fictional story with lots of dialogue, it will be easier and quicker to let actors ad-lib their parts. Decide if a storyboard will help - if you don't need one (or have time to do the drawings) make a shot list that includes the shot description and lens type (wide - closeup etc)
Production - Get everything ready. Decide what you need (props, costumes etc) and location (where you will shoot the film), and at what time of day. Do you need permission ? How long will it take ? Get your equipment ready and charge batteries.
Shooting: Shoot chronologically or use a clapperboard or piece of card to record the order of the scenes.
Editing: Edit your footage. Add any music or effects that enhance your film.
Review: Watch your film and make sure it effectively communicates your passion for filmmaking. Submission: Upload your film to the designated platform or share it with the class according to the instructions provided.
