Rainbow This is the 3rd of our colour challenges, and pretty soon we'll be able to make a Rainbow of images. Keep shooting - keep using your imagination
Yellow. Maybe it's not my absolute favourite colour but it is the colour of Spring and daffodils and of the sunshine that's been so amazing recently. Talking of amazing - this gallery is more than half-filled with pictures you've taken in the last 4 weeks. !
If you already have a great YELLOW pic then send it through. If not start looking around the house and garden for cool yellowness.
The pics below are from our house and garden, and tell you that even if it's not my favourite colour - there's an awful lot of it about. There's a bit of biography here as well. The dinky toy Citroen DS boxes were a gift from my daughter and a reminder that we had 2 of these incredible French cars when the kids were little. The Aristocrats poster is a reminder of one of the great children's films and a favourite of ours, and the Donald Trump dog toy a reminder that I need to send it to my sister so that her dog Ollie can start chewing away.
What does your yellow say about you ?
Remember 1. Be careful with Focus. Review your image after shooting - and if you need to - shoot another one. 2. Look for interesting angles. You might need to take a few pictures of the same subject, and then decide afterwards which works best. 3. Think about the light. Will the light be better later in the day ? 4 Try to send us a maximum 6 or 7 pics each time. An important part of being a great photographer is deciding which is your best picture.
