One Tree This is a really simple assignment. We all have a regular walk or bike ride- and during this period this will not vary too much. If we lived in the middle of the city our daily walk might not involve any greeney at all but we are very lucky to be next to the river and beside 2 of the greatest parks in the country. Even if you can't get to a park you can do this with a treee on yor street or in your garden.
Pick a tree on your regular walk and shoot a simple picture that includes the whole tree. Pick a deciduous tree that is still bare and waiting for its leaves to return.
We will chart the movement of Spring as it warms the soil and brings your tree back to life.
This gallery already includes work by One-A-Day students Indie PS, and Uma B
Top tips
Over the next few weeks try to shoot the same picture again and again. This works best with a tripod but if you can remember the spot where you took the picture and use the same zoom distance on your camera or phone it will still work perfectly.
Save all of these images in a seperate folder and call it One Tree.
At the end of the project you will be able to create a timelapse as Spring covers your tree in green
